Regarding your sleep patterns, have you made friends with the entire topic of going into a new place for a while and coming back? That’s what sleep is. It’s a place, not just a thing you do. You travel when you sleep and you have conversations and you have meetings with other friends and teachers.
And if, in your life, you have found that when you go and learn new things and you come back home, you are somehow “different” or changed in a way that others are no longer feeling great around you - you have somehow moved away from their group think, you may develop a problem with sleeping in general. Why? Because you are, unconsciously, resisting all core change. You are trying to not get too ahead of yourself or others so that you stay in line with their thinking and way of living. To free yourself so you can sleep you must also free yourself from all the groups. You must choose the group of you first.
