Two words every ENFP needs

Hi ENFP. I see you. You are awesome.

Those aren't the words, though. That's just me connecting before we get started on this blog post. That's because ENFPs LOVE to connect. Relationships are where it's at. But how do you stay balanced in your happy place when there is so much negativity in the world?

That's where these two words come in.

These two words are so powerful that just by adding them my stress at zooming through Facebook decreased 1,000%*.
*This is just a rough estimate, perhaps exaggerated. ;)

Are you ready?

(Yes!)

The words are: FOR ME.

That's it. Just two words and your life will be vasty improved. And by improved I mean you will stay happier longer in social situation. Happier longer on social media. Happier longer while people like your parents are giving you unwanted advice.

For example, Internet Poster says, "You got a tattoo?! Tattoos are horrible!"

Now you add the magic words and in your head you read the same statement as, "You got a tattoo?! Tattoos are horrible for me!"

Ahhh, instant relief from conflict, uncomfortable feelings, or the idea that the world is full of not-nice people and you just want to stay in bed in your jammies all day. Although now that I mention it,  a day in bed in jammies sounds delightful.

These words also work when you say something. I find myself saying, "What? You don't want to go to the fair? That's horrible!" And now I remember to add.... for me. Boo. I really wanted you there. It would be so much fun. (For me.) To hang out with all of those people and sights and sounds. (For me.) And wave hands in the air like you just don't care. (For me.)

This tool of adding the words for me would help a lot of different MBTI types but in particular I find it soothing as an ENFP because ENFPs have to (and I mean HAVE TO) have things lined up with their inner moral code or they feel terrible. Just horrible. And in a world where everyone forgets to play nice with those words and keep their frame of reference civil and, frankly, accurate, it can feel like an emotional minefield.

Now it won't.

Thanks for reading. This tool has been amazing for me. I hope it is life-changing for you too.
